Back in the Studio

Hey Freaks.. What's go'n An?

It's been a while since I have been able to post anything to the website. I think webmaster Steve is feeling break up pains. Sorry Steve.

Recovering from my long and scary illness has left a lot of loose ends around the ol Narley ranch. Trust me when I tell you that Mrs. Narley reminds me of those loose ends daily. So, now that the finances are back on track (B.S), the doctors are getting paid (bastards), and the electricity is back on (For now), I can finally get back to doing what I love (strip clubs).

The good news is that I feel great. The pain is long gone, I've even put on a few unnecessary pounds (mmmm beer). So now what?

Well, I've jumped back in the studio and got myself knee deep in new production. The production list on the wall reads like an homage to the impossible, but I'm going to make it work. Damn it!

Luckily for me I have a couple of friends who will help me out.

First on the plate is a whole disc worth of new original production music for my radio gig. I finished the first three tracks and have about another 7 tunes that need to get recorded before I consider that hurdle jumped. Truthfully, it all sounds like an overload of guitar diarrhea, but hey, I like guitar diarrhea, it's perfect for music beds and that's what I need it for. If nothing else it's a good excuse to turn up my trusty Marshall amp and rub off the finish on my Gibson Voodoo V. Metal! (throw goat here).

On Sunday afternoons, my good friends from Second City are going to be stopping by to help me create new bits, parody commercials, and whatever else jumps into our twisted little minds. The menu reads like the best of Narley; new parody commercials, comedy bits, parody songs, comedy songs, you name it, we have tons ideas and even some of them might be funny. We hope.

But wait, there's more.

As fans of this website and my radio show will tell you, we are known for outrageous holiday humor. While it may seem early to some, those of us at the studio know that we are actually a few months late getting started. As a prequel, I have instructed webmaster steve to post the long lost "Halloween Freak Stories" episodes to the website as soon as possible. More classics will follow and even some cool new stuff that I'm really looking forward to releasing.

The crew asked me "Are we going to make all the new comedy material radio friendly?". Hell no! It's not my intention to try and create only radio friendly material. It never has been. Sure, I do create radio friendly stuff and enjoy the reaction of the listeners, however I really like pushing the boundaries that are far beyond terrestrial radio's reach. That's the fun stuff. What would life be if we didn't go a little too far every now and then?

Sure, this all seems like an impossible task. It is impossible. Who cares? At least it's a direction, all be it misguided and frivolous.

Will we make any money from it? Nope, that's for sure. Not a penny.

Will we post it on the website for Free download? O Hell Yes!

Will my wife complain endlessly about the wasting of all my free time without getting paid? Definitely.

Will I do it anyway's! hehehe.. of course.
