This was the first recording session that The Killer Kona Buds did at Bob Narley's home recording facility back in the late 90's. Erik, the bass player who replaced Raven, performed the song in one take. At the end of the song you will hear over dubs of the whole band singing in some stupid opera style. Nobody really knows why Bob left the tail end of the recording on. The Bruce, that Gary refers to is Bruce Canfield, a roadie who has been with the band for over 10 years. Bruce walked into the studio at the end of the last take.

Smells like fish is one of the most popular Killer Kona Bud songs, both recorded and played during live performances. Recorded entirely at the 98 Rock production studio's in Tampa Florida, this song features Bob Narley on vocals and guitars, Raven on Bass, and Gary on drums. Never officially released on any album, this song is only available via mp3 download or a custom burned CD.

Here is a great parody song of Bob Marley's "Jammin", recorded by The Killer Kona Buds in 2004. This song features the line up of Gerry and Ken on guitar, Billy on Bass, and drummer Dave. The whole song was digitally recorded in their old rehearsal studio with a Tascam FW-1884 and Nuendo 2. Unfortunately, the hardware and software were not as compatible as the manufacturer's had written, which caused huge delays in the recording process.
