Scratch That Beaver by Bob Narley and The Killer Kona Buds

2:25 minutes (1.66 MB)

This is only the second parody song ever recorded by The Killer Kona Buds, and it shows. The whole production was recorded on a tiny Fostex 4 track cassette recorder courtesy of White Mare Studio's in Saint Petersburg Florida.

Lyrics:

I saw a girl, with a beaver in her hand
Ya know she showed it to me
It was furry and a move'n around
Ya know I think it had fleas

You got a scratch that beaver
Scratch that beaver
You got a scratch that beaver
Scratch that beaver

She said she got when she was just 10 years old
got it from the local pet store
We took it to the doctor

Mr. Woo's Wonderful World of Wok - De-Furred Shish Kabob Baby Kitten Lo-Mein by Bob Narley

2:52 minutes (1.31 MB)

Mr. Woo's Wonderful World of Wok

Episode: De-furred Kitten Shish Kabob

After many complaints by the listeners, management had cancelled the Woo series. This episode was the first episode back after they got cancelled. It was actually designed to scare management into thinking they were going to do a cat, however that doesn't happen. Instead, Mr. Woo takes out a heckler in the audience. Management was on the hotline within seconds, and then laughed it off at the end. Bob loved to push their buttons.

O.J.'s Back by The Killer Kona Buds

4:02 minutes (7.38 MB)

Recorded only hours after OJ Simpson was acquitted of murder, this song features celebrity voice impersonations and narration throughout the whole song. We have heard that another version of the song was written with other lyrics in the event OJ Simpson was found guilty.

Bob Narley is a huge fan of AC/DC and other fans of AC DC will undoubtedly hear the mistake that drummer Gary made during the recording session. The bridge repeats itself 4 bars too many times, sounding almost like a skip. This is still one of the most downloaded songs on bobnarley.com.

Mr. Woo - Monkey Brains Pudding by Bob Narley

3:46 minutes (1.73 MB)

Mr. Woo's Wonderful World of Wok

Episode: Monkey Brain Pudding

What could be yummier than good ol Monkey Brains? The sound effects in this episode will give you the creeps, the monkey sounds like it's in horrible pain. Of course, as always, no animals were used in the production.. we think.

Built Like a Weeble - Parody - Marilyn Manson "Beautiful People"

Black Santa by Bob Narley

1:06 minutes (2.02 MB)

This MP3 comedy bit was created for the Bob Narley Show Christmas Podcast. It features Bob's friend from Second City Christopher Paul as the Black Santa, and Bob Narley as the cop. It's oh so wrong.

The Bob Narley Show Podcasts are recorded and produced at the Narley Studio's. Bob invites friends, many of whom have no comedy or performing experience, and classmates from Second City, all over to his house. Many of the comedy bits are improvised live into the digital production studio and then edited.

Plump by Bob Narley - The Killer Kona Buds

2:11 minutes (1.5 MB)

Written to be very FCC friendly this great parody song is not very politically correct. Still a favorite at live shows, Plump represents the punk style and attitude that Narley prefers.

Lyrics:

Plump sat alone at the end of the bar
Tried to pick her up, didn't get very far
When I tried to lift her, I hurt my back
So I looked at the floor, and it started to crack

She's Plump, she's plump
She's in my bed
She's plump, she's plump, she's plump
She's just been fed

Plumps legs were full of varicose veins
and snot would drip, when her sinuses would drain

SatRock1 by Bob Narley

3:11 minutes (4.39 MB)

Bob Narley creates rock instrumentals for use as music beds, production elements, and for live performances. This is the latest instrumental, Track 1, from a series of 7 music beds created for his new show "Saturday Night Rock of the 80's" on WLUP 97.9 FM Chicago. Bob is all over this recording as he plays all 3 guitar parts, the bass, and keyboards. The drummer is courtesy of Beta Monkey Music.

For all of you gear heads: Bob is playing his sacred Gibson VooDoo Flying V through his Marshall JCM2000 with a Lexicon Delay. For Bass, Bob uses a Hartke 5-String.
